The seventh Winter Romania Historic Rally has been announced for 19 to 22 January 2023, as in past years, on the same forest roads of Comandaü, in Transylvania, in one of the coldest regions of Romania.  For this seventh edition Paul Lacombe and his team are concocting a route to include four days of racing, traced in a loop, around the city of Covasna.

The totally icy and snowy forest roads on the Comandaü plateau are sure to be on the agenda, providing plenty of sliding and driving pleasure for all participants.  The total distance of the rally is expected to be about 450kms, including 200kms of timed special stages.

Running to Romanian National Regulations, sanctioned by the FIA affiliated Romanian Federation of Sports Automobiles and the Automobile Club of Romania, the rally is open to 2 and 4-wheel drive vehicles, with or without HTP, registered before the end of 1995.  ‘Swedish-type’ studded tyres are allowed.  The number of entries is limited to 70 competitors.  See www.romania-historic-rally.com for the full programme and entries.
