Following a successful collaboration at the 2023 Le Mans Classic, UK-based Prill Porsche Classics and Huffaker Motorsports, based in Sonoma California, have announced a “working partnership” that can make it easier for customers to participate in overseas events and save costs on support staff travel as well as shipping tools and equipment.  The companies realised they had something to offer clients who wish to cross the Atlantic and compete with their cars.

“We have seen a big increase in the number of American owners that want to race in Europe, and we are confident that more European owners would travel to the US if we could make it easier for them,” said Dave Hagan of Huffaker Motorsports.  “After experiencing for myself what a difference it makes having a local partner facilitate the end-to-end process of racing across the pond at Le Mans Classic this year, Andy and I decided to team up and help others do the same.”

Despite the name, Prill Porsche Classics has worked on and supported many different makes of cars over almost 30 years and Huffaker has a long and distinguished history with multiple makes, including cars of their own design (Huffaker Genie) and developing cars for auto manufacturers.  “It makes perfect sense for the companies to work together to provide a better, more local and economical event support service,”  said Andy Prill, founder of Prill Porsche Classics.  The two firms intend to provide assistance with all aspects of competing including handling event entries, shipping of cars, on-event support, insurance, etc.
