Wanted – under 30-year-old enthusiast to take on a free 1927 Fiat 509 project looking for a good home:  Consisting of a very good chassis, with front and rear axles, springs, brakes, hubs, shocks and steering gear.  It comes with a complete 509A engine, clutch, gearbox and all ancillaries, including carb, dynamo, starter and magneto.  The radiator is very good and has a surround, bonnet, scuttle, two petrol tanks and the dashboard has some instruments.  It also comes with two seats.  There is a spare steering column, spare engine block, sump and crank and many small items such as the hand controls and wiring loom with many of the special Fiat connectors.  It also comes with a current V5C.

This is basically a complete car in dismantled form less the bulk of the bodywork – ideal for bodying as a 509S.  Part of the package includes a useful tools package if required and a free year’s membership of the Vintage FIAT Register, the VSCC and its Light Car Section.
