Taking in closed-road special stages and circuits along the way, Target Bavaria Rally (TBR) promises six exciting days with a start at Rijeka (in Croatia), to Postojna in Slovenia and the Karawank mountains to Austria, paving its way through Zeltweg and Salzburg before coming to an end in Munich Germany.  The rally will kick off with an exciting Prologue Race at the GP von Preluk street circuit (also known as the Opatija Circuit) overlooking the sea, to be specially re-opened for the event and offering a thrilling start to a week that promises to blend intense competition with the spirit of camaraderie that is unique to classic car rallies.  Other circuits are the challenging Grobnik Circuit in Croatia and the more familiar Red Bull Ring.

With two categories, race or regularity, participants will all compete over the same route of nearly 1500kms, passing through four countries, with the daily stages varying between 150km and 350km.  Organiser Dr. Joachim Graf von Finckenstein, and keen rally driver himself, and his team have promised stunning scenery, cultural highlights, fine accommodation and most importantly, excellent roads for driving unhindered.   Dates are 25-31 May and already, some well-known figures from the historic rally world are on the entry list.  See www.target-bavaria.com for details and entries.
