With the Classic Silverstone dates changed from the end of July to the three-day Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August, the concert programme has also been expanded to three evenings to include Sunday night, with top billing going to Rick Astley, whose successful career has spanned three decades. The Cuban Brothers and Bjorn Again, the Abba tribute band, will kick things off on Friday and will be followed on Saturday evening by Gabrielle and the return to The Classic of the chart-topping Sister Sledge. On Sunday night a performance by country music duo The Shires will precede the weekend’s highlight, when Rick Astley brings the weekend to a rousing finale.
