The latest organisation wanting to revive the once-mighty Group C grid, Masters Historic Racing has announced a new series for Group C cars from 1982 to 1993 for the 2025 season. The new series, entitled Masters Le Mans 80+, is set to debut at a select number of events next year. According to the Masters, “Many of our Masters Members are already passionate enthusiasts and proud owners of Group C and IMSA GTP cars, the interest in these cars has been instrumental in the creation of this new series. We’ll be revealing the race formats, the calendar, and the technical details that will make this series a must-watch for all Group C and GTP car enthusiasts soon.”

Le Mans Classic always brings out a strong grid of Group C cars, but other organisers struggle to fill grids
