After careful consideration, and in order not to clash with any of the other classic winter events, the 2024 edition of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne has been set to take place on 3-4 February, and in broad outline, will stick to its traditional format.

At the end of the 2023 edition, the organisers took the temperature via a competitor survey in order to better plan the evolution of the winter classic in the heart of the province of Luxembourg.  “And the overwhelming majority of crews pleaded in favour of maintaining the main lines of the event,” said  Pierre Delettre in the name of the RAC Spa.  “The 2024 Legend Boucles will therefore still be organised over two days, with a Saturday stage on asphalt, and that of Sunday in the forest.

Similarly, the possibility for reconnaissance of Saturday’s regularity tests for crews in the  ‘Classic 65’ category will be maintained, allowing these cars to join teams in the ‘Legend’, ‘Challenger’ and ‘Youngtimers’ categories.  “It goes without saying that the Friday evening festivities, with the autograph signing session on Place McAuliffe and the big parade in the main artery of Bastogne, are maintained, also by popular demand, especially that of traders,” added Delettre.  See www.racspa.be for details and entries.
