At their autumn meeting the FFSA has given the go-ahead for a new Historic French Championship category. For two seasons now French Championship promoters HVM have run endurance races at the Historic Tour race meetings, inviting all GT, prototype and touring car participants in the other French championships to enjoy an extra, long-distance race on Saturday evening. This is now to become an official Championship to be known as the Championnat de France d’Endurance Historique sanctioned by the FFSA and will include the guest drivers of the other series and run at the Historic Tour meetings.
