This summer’s coupe des Alpes, which will take place on 15-17 June running along a route from Evian, Megève, Alpe D’Huez to Cannes and will feature some of the greatest passes from the period event.  Made possible by setting the date slightly later than usual, three of these are more than 2500 metres in altitude: the Iseran, Galibier and Bonette.  From the start, the climb up the Col de Joux Plane will offer the most beautiful view of Mont Blanc.  The Cormet de Roselend and its high-altitude lake, as well as the Col d’Izoard further south, will be highlights of the 2023 route.  Running for the 34th time this year, this friendly event runs through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Alps without timing or competition.  See www.rallystory.com for details of this and Rallystory’s other 2023 events, including the 2nd Iceland Rally.
