This year’s Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival event will be more inclusive than ever with a new opportunity for Dubai’s local classic car owners to participate in ‘Dubai Classics’. Entrants’ cars will be on display in the paddock throughout the weekend and their owners are invited to take part in 20-minute open pitlane track session on each day of the three-day event. Participants from the glamorous 1000 Miglia Experience UAE, the conclusion of which coincides with the start of the Dubai Revival race weekend can also join the Revival, provided they have an eligible vehicle.
Formula One cars 1970-1985 and Le Mans cars 1982-1993 are back this year, with the addition of a pair of races for Le Mans cars of the 2000s (1994-2010) and a special three-hour endurance race into the night for pre-‘66 GT and touring cars. Also new this year are demos for Formula One cars of the 1985-1990 era. A ‘70s paddock theme and dress code with lots of off-track activities on offer for drivers’ guests and spectators, along with first-rate hospitality is included in the entry. A cost-effective shipping package has been negotiated with CARS UK. It’s a must for those who want to extend the warm-weather racing season into the winter. Dates are 8-10 December.
