Announced at the Goodwood press day, Goodwood 75 will be a year of celebrations across the Goodwood campus and its motorsport events in the year that the Motor Circuit reaches its 75th anniversary.  Not only has it been 75 years since the circuit opened and held its first race meeting in 1948, but 2023 also marks 30 years since the first Festival of Speed was held in 1993, 25 years since the first Goodwood Revival was held in 1998 and 25 years since the foundation of the Goodwood Road Racing Club.  The actual date of the anniversary of the Circuit and of the first Goodwood Revival Meeting falls on Monday 18 September 2023.
