Peter Auto has announced that the legendary Group C cars will be making a comeback in 2024 with a four-event calendar that includes the Mugello Classic, Spa-Classic, the Grand Prix de l’Âge d’Or and the Dix Mille Tours.  This series, celebrating the Golden Age of Sports Prototypes, brings together the cars that marked the history of endurance racing from 1982 to 1993, and symbolises a revolutionary era in which manufacturers and engineers had carte blanche on the design of their cars.  Even more powerful ground effects and engines and even more aerodynamic bodies allowed some Group C cars to reach the 400 km/h barrier on the Hunaudières straight at le Mans.  Cars such as the Sauber-Mercedes C11, the Peugeot 905 Evo 1Bis, and the Jaguar XJR14 will be among those present at Peter Auto Historic Racing events this season.
