The Dijon-Prenois track hosted the first round of the French Historic Circuit Championships (Historic Tour) under bright sunshine on the weekend of 5-7 May, with 19 races on the programme.

By the end of a busy weekend, Frédéric Lajoux (March 793), Antoine Robert (Martini MK48) and Matthieu Midy (Van Diemen) scored doubles in the season’s first two races in the Single-seater/Proto category after having respectively competed in Formula 3 Classic, Formula Renault and Formula Ford Kent.  This year the GT/Touring categories are divided into pre- and post-1990 cars, with Philippe Gandini (Mini Jem GT) unbeaten in the earlier class, while Laurent Sabatier (Porsche 993 GT2) in GT Classic and Julien Piau (Honda Civic EK4) in the Youngtimers GTI Cup topped the very provisional championship standings for the post-‘90 cars.  Finally, Eric Martin and Historic Tour promoter Laurent Vallery-Masson won the 90-minute 200km race, the first round of the new French Historic Endurance Championship, in their Debora SP91.
