Early September will see two big historic meetings on the US East Coast. Celebrating its 40th year, the Lime Rock Historic Festival on 1-5 September in New Hampshire launches into action over Labor Day weekend with a 17-mile tour through the area on Thursday’s Vintage Race Car and Sports Car Parade. The weekend will continue with non-stop racing for a diverse set of historic racing classes. See https://limerock.com for info.

A week later, on 8-11 September, the focus will shift to upstate New York for the Grand Prix Festival in downtown Watkins Glen and a celebration of motorsport’s past, along with the cars and people who have made it what it is today. In addition to the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) races, the on-track portion of the weekend will also include the highly competitive Trans-Am Championship and a special Bugatti race. The featured Marque for 2022 is the Ford Mustang. See https://svra.com.
