The two-day Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2024 was completed in early February with a third win for Stefan Stouf and Joris Erard (Escort Mk2) after the Escort of first-day leaders, Ghislain de Mévius and Johan Jalet, suffered a broken rear axle on day two’s second stage.  Now it is the turn of the general public to participate in the Balade Boucle Bastogne, which takes place on 4 May and traces the route of the ‘real’ competition, giving spectators the chance to see, from behind the wheel, the same stages that their heroes ran in February.  Also starting in the Place McAuliffe, there is no notion of competition, just fun, with a twist for those who want to do a night loop and see some stages from the Rally Bertix, the route of which is also designed by Eric Chaps.  See www.racspa.be for entries.
