RM Sotheby’s has announced that it will be selling the Jody Scheckter Collection at its Monaco sale, the star of which is the Ferrari 312 T4 with which the South African driver scored his 1979 World Championship title.The collection also includes a 1973 McLaren M23, a 1971 McLaren M19A, and a 1972 McLaren M21, a duo of Tyrells, including a 1975 Tyrrell 007 and a remarkable six-wheeled 2008 Tyrrell P34, amongst others.
A total of 12 cars will be offered in Monaco on 11 May, and all but the Ferrari will be offered without reserve. One GT car is also offered from the collection. It is a 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ, owned and raced in the Targa Florio by Scuderia Ferrari driver Ignazio Giunti.
