Hawker Racing Ltd, a spin off from Hawker Restorations, a company renown for the restoration of second world war fighter aircraft, and well-known race preparation company, Hoole Racing and Restoration are merging under new ownership. From 17th July 2024, well known racers and stalwart VSCC members, Justin and Ben Maeers have relieved Tony Ditheridge, and Sid Hoole of the financial and management responsibilities of running these businesses. The new business will run under the name Hawker Racing and will be headed up by a team of engineers including Peter Russell, Chris Graham, Wesley Risdale and Ben Maeers, and the Company Secretary, Tracey Rulton. Both Tony Ditheridge and Sid Hoole will continue to race and remain as business advisors and guides, providing continuity and years of experience to the Hawker Racing team.

Specialists in building and maintaining all Coventry Climax, Bristol and other engines the combined companies have a wealth of experience in building all makes of gearbox and will continue to provide a full customer package including transport, car preparation and race support. In addition, they manage projects ranging from complete car restoration to a simple overhaul and service.
