The enterprising Classic Sports Car Club has announced its 2023 calendar, (see www.historicmotorracingnews.com for the full 2023 calendar of all the series) and it will be running separate 40-minute races for its Classic K and Swinging 60s series on the Silverstone GP circuit at the HSCC meeting on 28th May.  But the innovation this year will be a 24 hour meeting at Anglesey that will run to the same format as the Classic Le Mans 24 hours.  “We believe this is a first in the UK,’ said CSCC competition Secretary, Hugo Holder.  “We will also be giving all our cars the opportunity to race at the HSR Classic Meeting at Daytona in November and again at Sebring four weeks later.  The last time we did this was back in 2007.”  See  www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk for more details.
