Just days before going to collect their award at the International Historic Motoring Awards ceremony in London for the ‘Breakthrough Event of the Year’, the motoring team at the Royal Automobile Club revealed that it will be repeating their Royal Automobile Club Concours again next year. The date they have set of 8 July will again fall in the middle of the week between the British Grand Prix and the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Club Chairman Duncan Wiltshire also announced the involvement of RM Sotheby’s, saying, “After many years in the planning, our first Concours exceeded all expectations, and was widely acclaimed for its glamorous informality. Plus, of course, some truly sensational cars. We are committed to making our 2026 Concours even better, with the help of our members and some of the world’s finest car collectors, and we are delighted to be partnering with RM Sotheby’s to help them conduct what promises to be an exceptional auction during the Concours.”

The Club’s unique Woodcote Park estate in Epsom, Surrey, made a superb backdrop for the first Concours, which featured some 200 exceptional cars from across three centuries on the Club’s fabulous greens and fairways. 2026 will bring all-new concours categories and special displays to celebrate design, sport, key anniversaries and icons.
