Not only has Formula 1 suffered from postponements due to the situation int the Middle East, it has also affected the Qatar 1812KM events, which were due to take place on 22-23 March. These have now been postponed, hopefully just until later in the year. Included in the programme were races for the Peter Auto CER series, which will now not be going to Qatar. In a statement the WEC management said another date would be found. “Following further discussions with our colleagues at Lusail International Circuit (LIC), where the race is held, a new date for the Qatar 1812km during the second half of the campaign will be finalised and communicated in due course.”
