Another notable anniversary his year is that of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, preparing for its 75th Anniversary. The event is expected to revisit some memorable and historic moments from past years. Ferrari will be the primary featured marque, with a special focus on Chinetti and NART competition cars. Vignale will be the featured coachbuilder alongside special classes for Early American Speedsters, Classic Streamliners, and Japanese Motorsports. Amidst its 75th celebration the 2026 Concours will also pay tribute to its historic roots in racing with a gathering of Pebble Beach Road Racing greats.

One very special display will be the mighty Sunbeam 1000 HP, the first car to achieve a land speed record of 200 mph on the sands of Daytona Beach on March 29, 1927. This historic car has been part of the collection at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, England for decades and, as previously reported, has recently undergone a complete restoration before its debut at Pebble Beach. On the 100th Anniversary of the Sunbeam 1927 record run, the National Motor Museum will return the car to Daytona for a special centenary celebration demo run on the sand on March 29, 2027.
