New Masters Event at Monza

Masters Historic Racing has unveiled an exciting new mid-summer highlight to their 2026 race calendar. A full Masters weekend will see all the Masters grids racing at Monza on 24–26 July, and including the new demo grid for later F1 cars. Replacing the previously scheduled BRDC Classic event at Silverstone on the same date, this move means Masters drivers will get the chance to race at one of motorsport’s most iconic circuits, a venue synonymous with speed and heritage.

All Masters competitors will be treated to a race at Monza for the first time since 2019, including the demo drivers of the V10 engined F1 cars of the ’90s
With new arrangements in place at Silverstone that mean the international paddock and garages will not be used during the event, a severely limited number of garages would have been available for Masters competitors. The Masters therefore decided that the venue would not be suitable for its members. “At Masters, we are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for our competitors,” said Leo Dufournel of the Masters. “To uphold this promise, we sought a venue capable of hosting a full Masters event without compromise and there is no stage more fitting than Monza, the Temple of Speed. It is an invitation to compete at one of motorsport’s true cathedrals.”
The new event at Monza is in addition to Masters’ full 2026 calendar, which sees visits to some of Europe’s best tracks, including Paul Ricard, Brands Hatch GP, Zandvoort, Dijon and Mugello. See our calendar section this issue.
