After it was cancelled in 2024 due to logistical and health problems of the organising team, the Royal Automobile Club (KAK) has announced that dates for the 2025 Midnight Sun Rally will be 11-12 July.  This highly popular and evocative rally, the biggest in Sweden for historic cars,  will run over two days based in Katrineholm and Ericsberg Castle, some 150kms south of Stockholm.   This year,  KAK will collaborate with the Katrineholms Motorklubb, which simultaneously and partly on the same roads organises the Slottssprinten (Castle Sprint) at nearby Ericsberg Castle.  Crister Nystrand and Leif Fredriksson from Katrineholms Motorklubb will manage both events.

Up to 90 Appendix K cars will be accepted for the main rally, including two and four-wheel drives, and  20 cars will be accepted in the Regularity Category.   The Midnattssolsrallyt has a long and illustrious history and offers 10 classic stages over the two days.

The Castle Sprint Rally takes place on Saturday only, with about 120 competitors (Appendix K not required) running on the same stages that the Midnight Sun Rally used in the morning.  Entries are now open, visit www.midnattssolsrallyt.com for more information.
