After participating in seven editions of the Grand Prix de Pau Historique, which sadly now no longer takes place, Diogo Ferrão and his team at Race Ready have added another 3-hour race to their calendar this year with the 3 Hours of Paul Ricard supporting the Kumho TCR Wolrd Tour. Open to touring, GT, GTS and protoypes from Period E to period H (pre-1976 with the exception of Escorts with BDG engines and Porsche 911 in RSR Spec) a 50-minute qualifying late on Saturday and 3-hour race on Sunday morning offers a compact weekend for competitors.

Ferråo pays special attention to Gentlemen drivers and Index of Performance drivers and says, “The Iberian Historic Endurance is an organisation of “gentleman drivers” for “gentleman drivers”. This is a competition that gives meaning to the acquisition and ownership of a historic racing car, whatever its category or power.”

Looking further ahead, Iberian Endurance will also have races at the Estoril Classics on 18-20 September, the Algarve Classic Festival on 30 October-1 November, Jerez Iberian Racing Festival on 6-8 November and as always, the season will close with the 250km race at Estoril in early December.
