Group C Returns to Brands Hatch

Motor Racing Legends has announced a grid of Group C cars for their new Brands Hatch London Trophy meeting on 19-21 June, promising that 13 of these iconic machines from five different manufacturers will be celebrated when cars from Porsche Nissan, Jaguar, Mercedes and Spice will do demonstration runs on Saturday and Sunday.

Group C cars hold a special place in the history of the Brands Hatch circuit, where they raced on eight occasions between 1982 and 1989. A highlight will be when Kenny Acheson returns to the wheel of the Sauber C9, the same model with which he won the 1989 Brands Hatch 1000kms.

Everyone loves these iconic cars, but in recent years, with the exception of Le Mans Classic every two years, races have failed to attract a full field of cars for historic racing.
