In an exciting final 45 cars were on the entry list of the closing round of the Belcar Historic Cup at the Nürburgring. After Dieter Kuijl (Class 1) and Luc Branckaerts (Class 3) had already secured their respective titles at Assen, two champions were still to be decided. Title contenders Tim Kuijl (BMW E36 2.5) and Wim Kuijl (Ford Capri RS3100 Cosworth) set the two fastest times in qualifying.
There was nothing to be done against the Kuijl brothers in the races, but it was Wim, with his Capri, who won twice, thus winning the Class 2 title. His brother Tim was also very fast, but on both occasions, he suffered problems at the end of the race, the first time with a broken axle on the final straight, and in the second race, he ran out of fuel in view of the chequered flag. He nevertheless managed to classify both times and, without getting a place on the podium, won the Class 4 title at the wheel of his BMW and completed the set of three 2024 titles out of 4, for the Kuijl family.
