After a timid re-start last year the Association Sportive Automobiles des Véhicules d’Epoque or ASAVÉ is coming back to life with more events in 2026. Under new management after the loss of their long-time President, the much-missed Alain Goupy, ASAVÉ has a five-event calendar planned for its two racing grids, ASAVÉ Racing 65 and ASAVÉ Racing 76, for GT, and touring cars.

As in 2025, they will support the V de V races at Navarra on 10-11 April and the 24-hour race at Paul Ricard at season’s end on 6-7 November. In between they will visit the Belgian Gentlemen Drivers Club meeting at Magny-Cours on 14-16 May and SuperSpa on 3-4 October. They have also listed the Charade Supershow date of 20-21 June as a provisional booking to be confirmed for the 76 cars. Weekend race format is free practice, 30-minute qualifying and two 45-minute races for one or two drivers for each grid.
Founded way back in 1972, ASAVÉ organised the first race meetings for historic cars in France and is one of the oldest organisations for historic racing. For regulations and other information see ASAVE.fr.
