The East African Classic Safari Rally management has been re-enforcing its team and has recently announced that Andy Gilmore will be joining as Clerk of the Course for the 2025 event.  “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that will make the 2025 event one of the greatest in our history.”   Andy has been involved in stage rallying since 1999, starting out as a navigator, then a driver on events in Northern Ireland and has also been involved working in various safety, stage and administrative roles before helping to create the Down Rally in 2005, which was his first experience as a Clerk of the Course.

Since then, has continued as CoC for the Down Rally, the Circuit of Ireland Rally when it was a round of the FIA ERC, and since 2022, he is CoC of Rali Ceredigion in Wales, which is a round of the FIA ERC, the British Rally Championship and Motorsport UK Asphalt Championship.  Dates for next year’s event are 5-13 December and regs are now out.
