Barbados Rally Carnival

The Barbados Rally Carnival was created 16 years ago to be a wild, two-week, tropical holiday with a bit of rallysprinting and rallying thrown in for some extra excitement.  This year, in order to fit in better with the European calendar, which gets busier and busier in the summer months, Rally Carnival will give up its traditional August date, originally set to be at a time when children were off school, and move to late November.

The sixth round of the British Historic Rally Championship took place at the Walters Arena Motorsports Complex near Glyneath in Wales over a 35 stage-mile route, shortened due to the issues over the cost of access to the forests managed by Natural Resource Wales. Heavy rain on the previous day and throughout the Saturday event gave competitors some of the toughest conditions in which they had ever competed.

“Pedro” and Emanuele Baldaccini made a complete comeback to take victory ahead of an ailing Toto Riolo Photos Fotosport

Pedro”, flanked by Emanuele Baldaccini took his Rally 037 to victory in the September 15-17 XXVIII Rallye Elba Storico - Trofeo Locman Italy, the penultimate round of the European and Italian Historic Rally Championships, a victory that was only revealed in the final stage. The crew overcame a 40-second penalty for a late time control on the first day, to climb back up the leaderboard and mount their challenge in the closing stages.
